Repetitive Venom

It hurts my heart just to know
that the teaching of hatred continues to grow.

Although minds are still fresh and young
they are exposed to the venom of the tongue.

They grow eager to use their venomous knowledge,
dirty looks and words from grade school to college.

But it doesn't stop there, no it does not,
ripened in age but the words still evilly rot.

No sense does it make, under no means
why so much malice over the melanin in our genes.

A newborn child, maybe this is a new start!
No, they are given venom that their parents were taught was smart.

It hurts my heart just to know
that the teaching of hatred continues to grow.
