Replica

Valuing who you are versus the person that you want to be is surely an admit to defeat or failure.

To even paint yourself a picture so vivid as to insinuate that you could imagine an avatar completely separate from the one given to you is a dead giveaway in itself,

and so over your face you wear a replica mask that entirely duplicates the qualities you already possess,

as to tell everyone around you that you’re comfortable with these given qualities, even the learned ones.

Stings, doesn’t it? But plenty of things sting.
