A Report by Anubis

I’ve seen many horrific deaths during my time.

I’ve lead child victims of detrimental diseases and war casualties to their judgement,

But these last few years have left me scrambling to compose myself.

I must take masses to their judgement and hear these disgusting stories,

Of CHILDREN taking up arms against their peers and causing countless of pointless deaths.

I guide too many warriors of the mind with battle scars,

Those who couldn’t withstand the pressures of their wars.

Those whose memories could inject fear into the bravest men and women.

You can find hundreds of mortals killed by bigots

who hate the idea of who and what they were.

It has always been clear that mortals are violent and thoughtless at times

but most remained with compassion and love in their hearts.

However, in these recent years it has become harder and harder to find those mortal

Clouded by a shroud of hate and anger

I cannot seem to find many good souls left in the living world

I plead to any of my fellow gods

We cannot let this continue
