Reprobate ... satire
Romans 1:28
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
Existence in hypocrisy
“Death as a doornail” ... thinking they are breathing
“Forms of existing” travel on through dominations
Blinded by the desires that in every corner lurch
Thinking of this as spiritual in their comprehension
Glued into a destination to the hunger of their minds
Led by emotion that are ruling their every day
Satisfied and happy lost in their state of confusion
bringing their sacrifices to the god that they’ve made
Justifying everything as of “God’s call” they prosper
Selling door to door the imaginations of the minds
Buying and trading the Grace that is freely given
To folks of their choosing to make them their own kind
Existing examples of the curse that is on mankind
Having little conscience for it hardened long ago
Never realizing that this is of their own making
Reprobate of mind not understanding their own
Building God an altar on promises that are broken
from the money that was made at the expense of the Cross
God ought to be happy with the intentions of their desires
although they’re flawed because they’re their own boss
The Lord ought to be happy with the fruit of this effort
“I did the best I could” in the framework of their mind
I even led God’s spirit in the direction of where I’m going
and that is my righteousness and you think that I’m blind?
I am not like the world ... I really beg to differ
I am meaning very well as in life I struggle on
I even help the poor as of my food they’re eating
although they’re just the crumbs leftover from the prom
Yes I am satisfied and so the Lord must be
Everybody sins some but I try to do what’s right
Forever I’m forgiven ... yep that’s in the bible
and I can live the way I want and that with all my might
