"Rescue Me"
Forgive me Lord, though I've done nothing but sin.
If I die tonight, the Heavenly gates won't let me in.
Help me Lord, Help me to change, for my life right now is like a storm drenching me in the cold heavy rain.
I know I'm not living right, and I don't want to spend eternity in Hell.
So, I pray the prayer of repentance each day hoping everything will go well.
Please, Lord don't let me die and wake up in Hell.
I can't spend an eternity where there's weeping and gnashing of teeth,
and where evil creatures dwell.
Rescue me Lord! for my heart is racing and my pulse is weak.
Give me guidance sweet Jesus, lead me away from the streets.
Fix me Lord, cause my years of addiction has me broken,
I know your talking to me, though no actual words are being spoken.
Mend my broken spirit, help me get my life back in line.
Please hurry, come soon Lord, before I'm out of time.
