Rescuer

I saw and loved

A man in love

Loves hooks for hands

And clutches for legs

Lends a hand to the limping

And carries the cripples.

His works will stay

And shine as day

He loves with cheer

And takes no charge

He puts all zeal

To put a seal

When he's gone

With all he's done

He will live in memory lane

Of some he tried to save

Forever treasured

Forever loved.
