Resignation
I am a song waiting to be sung
a voice screaming out to be heard and
life has been of no assistance to my lungs
wet with my tears, old beyond my years and
fear, HA fears i tell you are like the raindrops
that fall against my window
pain that crawls up my spine, i've become so numb
i ddn't realize i was half out my mind
i ran until i couldn't run no more there were sores
from running bare against the pavement
bt for everything there is a cost and for my sins
this is my payment
with critizing eyes you watch me
STOP KNAWING AT MY PAIN leaving me open
without love there was nothing to gain
i brought you all of my prescious being and
you left with all that i had, yet there was something missing
this feeling is piercing, to my soul
fearflessly i could never let go
i wondered why you alway looked down of me
frowned upon me never curiously asking what befalls me.
why i wished this life i had not to live
and no one ever came because no one ever knew
the stranger i though would save me never showed up,
not even you
but this has resignated for to long
this shouldn't be my song
slash these demons from my skin
crying to the angels "someday i must win"
God save me from the abyss
miracolusly i've desolved in the mist
six feet under my soul lies
buried alive..in this culprit of lies
i despise every moment i've cried
take this as my resignation from your temptaion
your no longer my sensation to useless feelings of sin
no more contemplation i reprehend your every aspiration
life delayed me, slaved me and engraved me
..i cant remember when i last existed
and i no longer wanna be life's tempress
someone prayed for me, they gave to me another
chance to be whole. finally i've learned to let go
and now Lord I ask you...please heal my soul!
