Resilience

Shattering faith and misplaced trust,
You fall into darkness and cannot find the light.
Echoing whispers beckon from every direction,
Confusion is your only emotional response.

Eyelids shut, no noise...only silence.
Perhaps, this is the end...this is fate
But-
Don't you remember?

He who mended your heart; rid it of ache
He who endured the hardships of life by your side
He who devoted his life to make you smile again
He who took your soul into his and protected it
He who understood you more than anyone else

He is there.
Why don't you go meet him?
