Resilience

I gave my heart away, only for it to be returned broken

This is the life I have chosen

I’m not going to stop what I am doing because I am broken

I am outspoken, this is my token of affection

that I gave the world only for it to be stolen

I broke away so I could sway with the waves every day

I am my own bae, so I never have to lie or imply or assume why

And so I can reach the sky all by myself

Greatness is gained and achieved through hard work and ability

Trust and loyalty are the things I give so carefully

Which are broken so easily and effortlessly

My heart was forsaken

Which left me shaken

Even after everything that happened I am grateful

Because I am now awakened

So never be sorry for you past

Only thankful for the future

Not just for yourself but for your closest loved ones

And never be afraid to grow because life is a mystery wanting you to change its history.

And yes I said it’s because life should be personified to show the truth in its meaning

Life is love, but Life is not promised.

Time is of the essence so let's write off the paper

And create what is uninvented and discover the difference
