Resistance
Should I dive around a little more?
I might find just what I’m looking for
Or is it too soon or too late to walk out of this door?
Please don’t let me be
Shinning lights are all I seem to see
The sympathy fell from my tree, just like the resistance you built for me
I could run to the limits
I can drive to the finish
I could ride into the starlit night
To the horizon, leave this all behind
How will I know when I’m through?
I’d try if only I knew
Show me how to run, how to fight, how to fall like you used to do
I’ve had it with feeling so numb
Following your rule of thumb
Once the time has come I won’t hesitate or leave any crumbs
I could run to the limits
I can drive to the finish
I could ride into the starlit night
To the horizon, leave this all behind
