Resolute Stagnation
Hatred, anguish, and revenge resonate-
through my soul amalgamate-
with my reasons to keep going.
Deceit has a stench so placid-
even before interests and stalemate.
Should I withdraw or keep charging?
A pawn is a bait-
with little leverage for bate.
How can knowledge be crippling?
Schemes and mentality conflate-
with habits and outcomes to dictate-
dispositions and their conking.
When an alley is the one to delate-
fear is compromise that doesn’t immolate-
right for wrong, so here I am waiting.
Waiting is a game so serrate-
with all that makes one berate-
So I hold on to clarity’s wing.
In the game of fate-
tomorrow seems desolate-
for patience is everything!
Late is definitely prate-
given today’s contentious state-
for resolute stagnation means winning!
