Resonant Silence

Silence, nothing.

Dark, echoes.

Every step causes resonant sound for only a mere second.

Then silence again.

Every step of every living thing,

causes the sound.

But if everyone stopped, for just a minute

There would be resonant silence,

ringing throughout the earth.
