Resonating Sound

(poems go here)

You've heard it, haven't you

The strong sounding breeze

The sound that can pierce you

That shall not seize

The breeze that can be heard on a winter's night

It's breath as cold as ice

The chill that would send soldiers a fright

It cuts through your body like a large slice

The crunching sound of it's teeth

The breeze returns to its lair

To hide beneath its sheath

Until the weather is fair

I was inspired to write this poem when I wad snowboarding by myself. It was getting late and the wind had picked up and it was then I realized that the wind and cold were forces to be reckoned with.
