Rest

Dear future me,

I just wanted a break from the world. A few moments of

Escape- without noise.

Without faces

Without falsity

And competition and comparison and corruption.

Just contemplation and congregation and relaxation and restoration and renovation.

Just a need for the time to get on my knees

And weep for all that has been kept in for the sake of time

And begin healing.

Just a need for the time

To figure out the mess inside my mind.

To untangle the uncertainty.

To unravel the threads of mindless doing.

I hope you can find it in you

to give yourself this time.

With love,

Me.
