Rest

I just want to sleep

Can you let me be?

I want to lie down here

I want to rest

I don't even have to go under

I just want to lay down

Close my eyes and take a break

I want to take a break from

The world around me

I want to take a break from

All that makes up life

From work

From school

From responsibility

From obligations

I want to be free

I don't want all of that

To weigh me down

I want to get lost in my mind

Even though that may be scary

It may not be such a good thing

But I need a break

I don't want to care

I don't want to move

I just want to lay here

I just want to sleep
