Rest From Conflict

BANG, the gun sounds, and life begins,

The first sounds from your parents within,
Are those of gladness at your very first grin,

Life goes on and you accept your sin,

You attempt to fit sin inside a bin,

But you know that you cannot find this win,

You try to find peace from the conflict therein,

So you try to follow your dreams, now thin.

Childhood goes by, to fast to process,

The friends you make, now easy to access,

The friends you break, as you tried to impress,

That girl, the one in the velvet red dress,

The words, that you now attempt to express,

Will give you no progress, but distress at the best.

BANG, the gun sounds, hit to the chest,

But finally, you can now achieve your best, with rest.
