Rest In Peace

Impossible is preparing for the inevitable that has suddenly fell to our feet In two words she snatched the oxygen from my lungs And my mind left me to preserve sanity Visions too tangible to believe this statement The hearts that have broken for you and the million tears that have fallen for your smile For the passion in your eyes and the honesty in your tone, A caring, a joy, a wise man illuminating those around him and the memories of just yesterdays have flooded my tears ducts once again because I want to find comfort in denial the truth casting a shadow of pain that possess the faces and emotions of those who love you changing what time can’t mend yet forcing us to grow and appreciate what we have and had and we are reminded as I’m am sure we have all have been before maybe not in as hard of a blow as this, or maybe so, that we don’t really control our lives only our decisions So I pray to god to allow grief to reside temporarily And to look after the man that we miss as he looks over us His friends, family and his true love We all love you and as long as we do you will always be with us Carl “YOGI” Thomas
