The Rest Of The World

THE REST OF THE WORLD

Its walking down your nicest residential neighborhood,

trees flow so freely and wind is gently gliding across the fact that only some people get to make it here.

Ive been introduced to these neighborhoods by something so lyrical,

someone who could relate to the broken windows on 11th street.

They taught me that the houses' souls arent always good ones.

That these windows are not tinted.

They have been telling me that if i look inside these windows,

If i dare to look in these windows,

I'll be grateful that i would have never made it here.

Kendrick Lamar taught me that if these walls could talk,

I would understand what secrets are hiddin underneath the insulation.

Its walking down your nicest residential neighborhood and realizing it is the worst.
