<p>I agree with JWIENER. This haiku is very powerful. But I picture a day filled with crime and pain. And the next day starts with a goregous sunrise.</p>

<p>This is one powerful haiku. From the title, the image I got was of the power button of a computer, used to shut the computer off and turn it on each day for a new start. This poem carries the message that most things look better in the morning, and each day is a new chance to find something new worth living for. Have you ever written a sonnet?
