Resting In A Dream
Cold heart warm blood
Bold thoughts continuously flood
Rush in like a flowing stream
Then I woke up it was all a dream
But in this dream laid my biggest nightmare
So do I wake up or just lay there
The covers are warm the pillows are fluffed
But in this world can you dream enough
To reach the point of no return
Where the dreams hit the heart and the reality of it burns
The very core of whom you are
Because the dream is tough but you're not that far
And on this road there are no lights
So who's to say you're at the end of the fight
You might be at the beginning or half where there
So do I dream or do I stare
At the ceilings of life protecting me from the light
The light of my imagination the light of my rights
