Restless Nights

Restless Nights

I didn’t want to go out far,

Just out of the dark so I could see the moon.

It always erased my lonely feelings.

I thought of it as a beautiful creature; burning yet cold; exotic, sinister, and frozen ice to the touch.

Just like me.
