Paralyzed by the truth, now freely found lies and deceit are fading fast forever gone are those that found you swimming through the ashes of your past Throw forgiveness to the night and befriend the tyrannical that pray for it all to be set right by the views of the cynical The Faithful know the ultimate truth and it died with the birth of God We have memories so that we may have roses in December Red and black petals falling to the floor Giving us chances to remember As God guards the Doors To eternal serenity Release the chains of your freedom Forget that which makes you all right Seek out the ever-living kingdom The kingdom of the night God turns his back on the faithful And the screams of the restless Echo through the halls Throughout the kingdom of the night Throw forgiveness to the night And befriend the tyrannical That pray for it all to be set right By the views of the faithful Red and black petals falling to the floor And we are restless in Serenity and God guards the doors Have faith for I have none; take heed for I care not; love the world for I hate you as I'm restless in Serenity
