retreat

When the sun tends to retreat back to the horizon,

The pain in the memories will only leave me cryin,

I look to the clock for more time to pass by an,

I try to make mymind see that my heart was just lying,

I know its not easy but I'm trying my best,

I keep what's important and leave out all the rest,

Because this pain in love only adds on when my life's a mess,

And honesty I dont think I need that kind of stress,

I do tend to ask my self was it worth all the pain,

When I used to say I love you in every way,

Now that your gone it just isn't the same,

But I don't want to retreat from every every past day,

That you were their in my arms and I look back again,

To every word that's gone and every word I ment.

RETREAT...
