Revelations of a confused kid, a peek inside.

Paradoxical is what I am

It is my being, I am enveloped in every definition and synonym of the word.

When I am hot, I am cold, when I cry, I laugh, and when I smile, I am still sad.

Not many people may see the reason why I am “Paradoxical” or even agree,

But that is not what I am here for. FUCK an approval!

I know what I am and I love it, because it is simply me.

It is all I’ve ever known.

It’s all I can ever be!

For when I look into the endless abyss that is the night sky, I also wonder about the crazy things that lurk in The dark, but I restrain my exploration because I am scared, but yet I fear nothing.

I have this deep appreciation for my culture and the endless beauty that it radiates, but yet I find the faults And know a lot of it is not right.

I see black and then I see white, and what I think is red is really blue.

For the rest of my life I will be blessed with this plague in which I am forever unsure, uncategorized, Unpredictable, however a preferable word I enjoy is unique.

Because even when it came to submitting this poem, I went back and forth, NO! YES! NO! YES! NO! OK, MAYBE! NO! YES! Until finally I let my guard down clicked the button for the world to see, that Nery is Really just a paradoxical being, not an alien or a big mystery. I am a Paradox, and I am happy. Or am I?
