Revenge of the Words
Revenge of the Words
My crush: Hey Josh, what’s driving you?
Me: I get that question a lot. I’m just trying to be me and not someone I’m not. I’m not trying to be anybody else. I couldn’t even copy myself, if I tried. I’m on my Steve Urkel flow because family matters. Hard work, no silver spoons or platters. I’m a nerd, I don’t even have to say it. I don’t sag my pants or wear the most expensive clothes.
My crush: I look at you and I already know. I don’t want to be your girlfriend, you’re real, you’re not putting up a show.
My crush: I like “cool guys”. Who are way up in the sky, who won’t notice me while I walk by. I don’t like you Josh you’re more of a friend. Was my last boyfriend real? Or was he just pretend? I like Hood guys who won’t make it in the end. Impregnate me and leave me, nine months without seeing me.
Me: There were many signs he told you “you better get that abortion that child ain’t mine”.
My crush: He abused me and bruised me. Got no job but always used me.
Me: This guy went to prison, you said no but he took your purity and your innocence. The beatings and cheatings. I wonder how much you can take. I wonder why you no break. This guy keeps going to jail, but you keeping paying the bail. EPIC FAIL-URE! I’m not mad at you girl I wish you made better decisions. I’m not your parent but I gave you my supervision. Good things were never meant to last but we were neveranything because I finished last.
