In Reverence

The world continues
its own fantasy
while syncopated love
keeps tugging at us closely

In a secret land
I ride my mare
with eyes of heaven
I breathe while braiding her hair

Galloping for freedom
God sings my story
Remembering in reverence
In each other's arms we sleep
