Revived and Mended

My pockets were full of my bad experiences,

carrying them with me where ever I went

but you were always willing to help me carry the load

making me feel a little less on my own

I started replacing my bad expereinces

with everything you told me I was

and some day would be,

your heart always wanted happiness for me

Whenever my vision was blurred,

heart was shattered, bones aching, mind racing

you moved mountains and sailed seas

to keep me standing on my feet

The unfortunate truth about my youth

entails my weak will and endless stabs in the heart of my soul

but regardless of the scars that were left

you revived me, and mended me whole.
