Revolutionary Realization (Spoken word)

It seems like life only starts when I spark the ignition

but with these binocular lenses I have a Prophet's vision

the future, speaks tales of misery

lying there pain goes on like muscular dystrophy

the future, appears weak

this next generation, bleak

it seems the new trend is ignorance

but what happened to all the intelligence?

it seems the only intellect left is now in A.I

and face to face people are shy

but yet over the phone they become keyboard warriors

and that's why the digital age is notorious

it's all about computers, consoles, and keyboards

an electronic overflow

amassing into a digital broadsword

welcome to the combat zone

focus has shifted to possessing the newest device

because rather than people, phones are now more concise

human thought is now considered lacking

because people are more concerned about their little life shattering

Pause.

life continues when your phone is shut down

but your life is held back by the code with which you lock it

understand clowns and theatrics are not the focus

society vanishes within technology

escaping real communication like biblical locusts

realize life is worth more than a tweet or a text

and that revolution be holds us all

maybe one you are next
