Revolutions
I can feel the Earth spinning
And it makes me dizzy.
I can feel the Sun burning
And it makes me warm.
I can hear stars exploding
And it is deafening.
I can.
I can see atoms bonding
And it makes me lonely.
I can see feel cells dividing
And it makes me sad.
Where all the life joining
Simply comes apart.
I can't.
The universe is expanding
But my muscles are contracting.
With each stroke I write
I am destroying.
But creation is worth the graphite
Swiftly shattered in silence.
I will.
Each face has a word
And world without race.
Each book hasn't finished
For I hate endings.
In the universe expanding
I give it infinity.
I do.
I can hold the stars in the palms of my hand.
I can't stop them from burning.
I will write you their stories.
I do not stop.
I am.
