Rhona (The Second)

I look around in the early morn
The sun not even through
As I sit alone in the darkness
My thoughts all turn to you.

I think about to your smile
How your laughter fills the air
I think about asleep just now
And I wish that I were there

I wish to lie and hold you
While snuggled on your bed
I wish to turn and kiss you
So gently on the head

I'd guard your sleep from demons
And watch you as you sleep
I'd wrap my arms around you
So safely you to to keep

And when gently you awaken
I'd greet you with a smile
A "good morning to you sweetness"
"I've missed you for a while"
