Rhythm of Distraction

Tip tapping of the rain,

tik-tok of the clock,

pencil tapping on the paper.

All in perfect

rhythm,

to the heart

of a

dreamer.

Distracted by the

scene in front

of her.

Of the events

of the day.

Of the world

that seems

to be going

in the opposite

direction.

Her mind,

off in,

Neverland,

and never to

return.
