Ribbons of Love

Our love is like two ribbons of gold The purest you will ever find And once they are tied together They will forever be entwined Sometimes a knife will try and cut Our bonds of love that mend But I know our love is strong enough To make those dull knives bend These ribbons go through everything And yet shine bright and true These ribbons represent our love The love of me and you
