The Riddle of the Arrow
What am I?
I sang a song of shields, as they still do feel,
I whistle as I go, killing many foes,
I terrorize the shield-wall as I blot away the sun.
In the basket of my friends I lie to the end
When I push on the strings that will send
Me singing through the sky and mortals do die.
What am I?
