Ridges
Everyday someone falls into the ridges,
And becomes lost to the naked eye.
They travel the streets,
With a blank face on their smile,
A call of help yearning in their eyes.
And these ridges they try to escape,
But these ridges, just try to contrive,
Are lofty and long, with wishes of harm,
The place that lost sould go to die.
And everytime someone falls into the ridges,
And leaves society behind,
Their calls for help have been muffles,
And their limbs have been tied,
With thorns in their arms,
And fires in their eyes.
But every once in a lifetime,
There is a lucky soul.
Who escapes from the ridges,
Climbs up and goes forth.
But this soul will never breath the same again,
Because these memories from the ridges,
Stay with you until the end.
