Riding the Ice Pipe
You skate past dreams, totally numb to the deafening screams....
This is your subconscious fractions, not allowing you to process the damaging effect of your actions...
When you were a kid you mimicked smoking lolly cigarettes, the gateway sugar rush that progressed onto ditch weed hemp.
That rush just wasn't enough...now you're riding the bowl of the ice pipe high, too involved to crash, to fast to fall.
When the glass is empty you crave some more.
Showing up desperate at the old mans door.
He gives for a while, but sees you scratching, creating more scars, physical, emotion, no regard for your actions.
Father gives up on his meth addicted son....
Can't handle anymore lies, he turns and runs.
Tryed to pull him out, but in too deep, distastfully unapproachable, kicked out on the street.
No one left to take off, hes lonely, its dark. All he had is gone, he sleeps in the park.
Years go on he's old, dirty, lonely and broke, begging for change, nobody left to talk,
No pipe to swirl, no gear to stalk.
The friends, family he once had, have being shredded and torn, father gave up on his son who was born.
See the choices we make are no ones to take.
We own our decisions and decide our own fate...
