Right of Color
(poems go here) My right as a brown man is seen through papers/How am i suppose to compete with these white crusaders/ No i am not a racist by any means/ But how can you judge my work status by my racial identity/ These stereotypes bring me to insanity/ cab driver, 7-11 worker, you got to be kidding me/ I should have the right to have any job i please/ I am as hard working as the next man even thought my skin is a different complexion/ I should have the right to not having to Americanize my name to get recognition/ Krush Parikh should be the name my future boss should listen/ to as a thought that even though my name is different I am not/ I am as intelligent as a Jim or a Steve/ No i will not bomb you i have nothing up my sleeve/ I just wish to be given a chance to be seen as a equal/Because you am I and I am you even though we are different we bleed the same too
