Right now

It's now we live, not then or when,
It's now to be alive,
If we don't live in the here and now,
There's no chance to survive

The daily grind, that's what it is,
Has the power to suck us dry,
There's times, there's days when it's so tough,
It makes you want to cry,

There's words harsh spoken,
The language loud and not so nice to hear,
It's down to stress and tiredness,
It's down to downright fear

Of failure and of what it brings,
To bear upon us when,
We feel so low with the hand we're dealt,
No face cards once again

It's not all over you'll be glad to know,
Live for today and now,
It changes day by day my friend,
Read on I'll tell you how

It's not to do with what you have,
It's about what you have to give,
It's time, it's effort and attitude,
It's the giving that lets you live

What goes out must come back you see,
Just like the sun and tide,
It's like the breath of life we have,
With this thought you will abide

In peace and in tranquility,
Assured of just one thing,
That happiness is there for us,
It's free, it's there within!
