Right now

The storm is harsh and has yet to pass

It has been blowing for weeks to no end

It just faulters from time to time

enough for me to think it has come to an end

but of course not.

To my surprise my boat has stayed a float

In that I take victory.

A small moment of bliss comes over me.

Though I can't control the sea nor the wind

I can control me

and right now, I'm still floating.
