Right or Wrong?

The line between right and wrong

is now a blurry one

We used to not do what's wrong

because it was right

Now we don't do what's right

because somehow it feels wrong

We used to feel bad for making

a mistake

Now we dare not trust each other

because there's too much at stake

Remember when hugs and kisses

were free

And home was always the place

you'd rather be

Now we only get kisses if they come with actions that are more intimate

And we dread to go home because Daddy's violent

Back then the abuse of a child was an abomination

Now it's just a mild complication

a misunderstanding

no need for overreaction

Because nowadays

What's wrong is right and what's right is wrong

Am I right or wrong?
