Righteous Sinner

I am not the perfect straight-A student or an amazing athelete

I often stumble and struggle with my words, let alone my feet

I am not a "good" Christian, that prays to God everyday

I often forget to talk to him, but he loves me anyway

I do not have my priorities straight or my life figured out

If someone out there does, then please, PLEASE help me out

I am not good at holding my tongue, or thinking before I act

A strong grip on my emotions is something I have always lacked

But hey no one is perfect in any way shape or form

And if you can't accept me, then I'm sorry, this is the way I was born

In fact, I'm not sorry, this is the way God made me

I will give him the praise whatever the situation, go ahead, call me crazy

I am not the amazing athelete, I do stumble and fall

But God is there to pick me up, he is there for us all

I am not a straight-A student, or Valedictorian of my class

But God knows his plans for me, no matter what wrong is in my past

"I am a sinner trying to walk the righteous path with two left feet"(Ab-Soul)

A reminder that Jesus MUST help you through all the hardships you meet

I am not a poet, or even a good essay writer,

But i am hoping to win this scholarship, as it would make my future brighter.

And from my eyes this is part of my story

My book is not finished yet, and to the great author be the glory.
