Rigid Realizations

I feel like

I don't even know you

Who are you?

Who am I?

Who are we?

These are all questions

I don't have the answer to

I only know

Who you were

Who I was

Who we were

They always say

if it's not meant to be

then it's not meant to be

I hate that

I hate that it's true

I want it to be meant to be

So

so

badly

Why isn't it working?

I've been trying

so hard

to prove to myself

and you

that it's meant to be

What have you done?

Nothing

Is that why it's not meant to be?

Does something need

two sides

to be destined

to occur?

I want to know who you are

I want to know who I am

I want to know who we are

but

Do you?
