Riot

15 minutes of police brutality Racial profiling, Skeletal distortion, A full 15 minutes of Rodney King, A presumably intoxicated 25-year-old black man, Generating, 9 skull fractures, Scattered violence everywhere, Beatings, Chaos and Death, Fire and Gunfights, It's far from bliss, Liquor stores in ashes while chain store remnants loiter, How we survived is unexplainable, Restaurants up in flames, All for (in)justice Blood thirsty blacks, Despair envelops the soul of helpless Americans, Prowl for white coated flesh, N.W.A. chanting the riots anthem, Brother's strained inside their brown skin, 1 year later 2 of the 4 officers were found guilty, And were given 30-month sentences King? Well, Rodney King was given $3.8 million in damage by the city of Los Angeles, But money cannot take back what was done to him, The trauma that not only King, but his onlookers felt was detrimental.
