Riot

Democracy in flames,

Lawless government

An Eternal Silence

And the heavens, Shall tremble

When eventually, we all find our way

What are you doing?

Your friends are waiting.

Put down your remote,

Shut your doors

grab your bat.

Guns for sale.

Assimilate.

On we march.

The march of the  fire ants.

We walk the ragged mile.

We fight with our hands

The hands of justice.

Our moral burden,

Senses fail.

We fight with our hands

Blindly.

In the end, it doesn’t even matter.

They knew all along.

Social Network,

Social Deception.

Eyes in the sky.

Our faith in action

Our tax dollars at work.

What were we fighting for?

They knew what was going to hit them,

And they moved towards it.

They came,

They conquered,

They left.

Monkey see

Monkey do.
