R.I.P Dad

Thu, 04/25/2013 - 22:29 -- alegrah

I lost my mom and now I thought it’s just me and dad, but then I lost him too

He lived a good life, but I guess it was his time to move.

My dad was cool, calm, and collective.

Never would he ever disturbed your peace.

My dad was a man who any man would love to be.

He wasn’t a boy, a kid, or a child. He was a man who’d never live foul.

God wants every child to have a foundation laid.

My dad laid a foundation I’ve yet to see another man lay.

My dad’s foundation was the one that paved thee way.

When I got on my knees and prayed to God, I said what’s it going to be?

My mom is gone and my dad too, but I seem to still have peace because of HIS love that is flowing through.

God’s mercy, grace, and love have been the comfort wrapped around me.

And I’m not alone; the trinity is here with me.

Jesus is the one to give me access to thee, so when I think of my parents I know he’s set them free

Free from the heartaches and pains of this world

The world didn't take anything away from me, for I know my parent’s new resident has freed them from all iniquities.

Ab-bah Father, yes you are Holy and I thank you for blessing me with the parents who have kept hold of me.

I lift up your name for you are the one to deserve all gains.

You have blessed me with wonderful parents who I’ll continue to love.. Mom and dad I’ll see you when my home is ready above!
