The Ripple Effect

One Black Shackle constrains her right hand

Left advances, since

Right shuns imperturbability

and Cloud abducts cognition.

HIS Raindrop suggests Amelioration

“One Drop, Ninety-Nine Ripples,” it screams

yet One Black Shackle tightens to provoke

an undeniable urgency within her

to stay blind.

self-defeat. self-pity. self-all-of-it.

her head falls, her eyes meet the now-chain

Alas,

One Black Shackle has been bestowed a companion:

One Silver Shackle

“No,” HE corrects, she has been bestowed a herald.

One Silver Shackle in its delicacy reflects

the undeniable light shining through Raindrop

“One Drop, Ninety Nine Ripples”

“One Drop, Ninety Nine Ripples,” She repeats

She lets the light dilate her eyes

Skewed vision, but it is vision nonetheless

Still, hesitation befalls her

Her head bows once more

Enter One Gold Shackle

Array of Light follows

She now comprehends.

“Not shackle nor constraint. Black, Silver, and Gold Adornments.

Time is not to be spent dwelling.

Time is to be spent spreading The Message

In recognition of Black, Silver, and Gold.

One Drop of my Time

Yields the reflection of the Ninety-Nine names

of The Creator

One Drop, Ninety-Nine Ripples”
