Rise
Hurts when I laugh sometimes, feels good when I cry.
Tell me when you're lookin at me, can you see the pain in my eyes?
Make up your mind, stop dragging me along
Since a child I was told, that men aint gold.
I refuse to be this PUPPET that you string along
Looking at myself, wondering where I've been.
But now I have found me
I come first and so does my happiness
I am Woman
No force is equal to my determination to rise
and rise, I shall rise
With or Without YOU.
