Rise Up
Rise Up
Why?
Why do we let this ugly world define us?
Why do we give it up so easily?
Basically giving AWAY our dignity,
So much power between our thighs,
Yet still ignorant to the disguise,
Living a lie,
Because we don't know our worth,
Our worth is not just a dime, not worth his time
But a gem our husbands will search hard to find,
A diamond in the rough,
So stop acting so tough,
Love yourself,
So you can inspire someone else
Makeup to cover up the pain
Living with disdain
Smiling to cover up the truth
Praying that no one will uproot
The undealt with wounds
That you experienced too soon
Know who you are,
So you can't be told what you are not
Build your confidence because
When you are confident
You become content,
And when you are content You start giving compliments,
Dr. Seuss said "There is no one alive you-er than you..."
So do you boo,
You were created in His image
Stop looking to this imagery
For sympathy
