Rise
I’ve been playing the victim for so long that I’ve forgotten that I am, in fact, a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Forgetting that when I was young, I thought it was safer to hide behind a mask, if I hid who I was, it all wouldn’t hurt as much... right?
Now, becoming naked, shedding the warmth and safety of my disguise that once kept me so safe. Not hiding who I am... because that’s how I forgot my identity to begin with... was the sheep’s clothing really keeping me safe, if everyday I forgot a piece of me?
