Rise up & Be Healed
Our Virtue is beautiful
Precious queens stand before him, casting shadows of grace and tranquility
While stars twinkle against the midnight sky as beautiful as her caramel skin, leaving the sweet scent of honey dew
Did I mention her presence is beautiful?
Eyes slanting like the crescent shape of the moon giving way to the lineage of ancestors that came before her time
Did I mention her strength is beautiful?
Her laugh echoes through the heart of Nigeria connecting the innocence of our beauty
Did I mention her culture is beautiful?
The ocean pools from the blue in her smile overshadowing the scars left upon pure white skin from the pain of her past
Did I mention her daughters are beautiful?
God I must ask, why you created Woman?
What was your purpose of allowing our feminist ways to leak into this male dominant society?
Our minds being corrupted by independence that our opposite gender takes pride in
Who are they to ask if we are woman enough to be considered beautiful?
Who are they to ask if we are feminist enough for our culture?
I, We, Woman was created to live a life of worship, God you, our creator destined us to be the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys
Our strength wipes away the tears from little girls faces who ask the question-why aren't they beautiful enough for man?
God, you give us your word for the times that our heart is broken and our spirit is shattered
We were given spiritual freedom for every father who is missing out on her heavenly smile or overlooking the jade in her eyes
Did I mention we as woman can be easily broken but not destroyed once we are healed?
Healing brings forth…
Healthy eating
So Mothers will rise on the word of God
Abundant living
So Daughters will rise to live a blessed and purposeful life
Empowered Deliverance
So Sisters will rise to have the strength in God to walk in spiritual freedom
Rise, Rise up and be healed
Beautiful virtues women
