Rise of Realization

I don't want to fall and wonder why it has gone to nothing/ You left me out in the stormy rain, I thought you were bluffing/ Tears streaked down my face like the dirt you made me out to be/  As you leave me behind wrecking everything you see/ You know my story but you never fulfilled the promises you made to me/ I was left to seek for untethered help/ Where were you? Not at my feet/ I struggled and cried, broke down for reasons I don't know why/ I lost myself and you probably stood on the sidelines/ I grew up and changed/ I rearranged/ Without you of course because things will never be the same/ I gave up on myself once, wont happen again/ I wont let you control me, this isn't the end/ Ill rise up higher than you can ever imagine/ So I can erase all the bad memories as if it didn't happen/ From the past, to the present, and for my future/ Ill keep fighting, I'll heal my wounds with a suture/ Thank you for your momentary presence/ It was great because I learned a lesson/ This is a story which you failed to open your eyes/ And the one that I will guide/ I will win and stride/ Until I'm filled with pride/
